Athens County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating the theft of Verizon phone lines in the Chauncey area. Hocking County Sheriff’s Office has taken into custody several suspects in similar crimes that have occurred in Hocking County. These suspects are also people of interest in the theft of the Verizon phone in Athens County.
