Fred L. Rutter, age: 63, died while at his resience on Churchhouse road, Glouster, on Monday, December 20, 2010.  Jack Moquin, Investigator for the Athens County Coroner’s Office, advised the death was due to natural causes.  Mr. Rutter had been ill for a lengthy period of time.

Ken Gibbons stated the cabin he owns on Frost Road near Stewart was entered sometime within the last week or so.  An electric wire that had been placed in the ground running from the cabin to a small building close by had been stolen.  Als0, a spray paint can had been released while the perpetrators were inside.  Shoeprints and two fingerprints were detected.

Mary Gabriel reported she had a wedding and an engagement ring missing from her residence on E. First Street in The Plains.  ACSO is investigating this incident.

OSP advised ACSO they received a call regarding an individual urinating on the property of Red Barber Shop on Long Run Road.  This case is being investigated by ACSO.

Steve McGlaughlin stated he had a chainsaw, circular saw, reciprocating saw, .22 revolver and a holster removed from his residence sometime within the last few days.  He resides on Featherstone Road, Stewart, Ohio.
